About Al-Huda University College

Al-Huda University College is a private, non-profit higher education institution located in Anbar Governorate, in the city of Ramadi on 17th of July Street. It aims to contribute to the development of university education and to serving the community in the western region of Iraq.

 

Establishment and location

The college was established in 2020 in the city of Ramadi under Council of Ministers Resolution No. (203) of 2020 and Ministerial Order No. (T H A / K 8443) dated 14/12/2020, in accordance with the amended Law No. 13 of 1996 on the establishment of private colleges and universities. Teaching began in the 2020–2021 academic year, making it one of the modern academic institutions in Anbar Governorate.

 

Academic beginnings

At its opening, the college included three main departments: Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology, Medical Laboratory Techniques, and Accounting. In its first year it received 226 students distributed among these departments. From the outset, the curricula were designed to keep pace with scientific and technological developments and to meet the needs of the local and national labor market.

 

Expansion and development

Al-Huda University College has witnessed rapid growth in student numbers and academic departments. A Law Department was introduced in the 2021–2022 academic year, followed by other medical, engineering, and administrative departments such as Pharmacy, Business Administration Techniques, and Medical Laboratory Techniques, with plans to establish additional specializations. The college has also developed its infrastructure by building a modern academic complex that includes advanced laboratories, lecture halls, a central library, and service facilities that support the campus environment.
