Al-Zahraa University for Women, established as part of Iraq's Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry's private higher education initiatives, has emerged as a prominent educational institution since its inauguration on December 6, 2018. The university, with its diverse faculties, has rapidly expanded its offerings to stay in tune with the evolving scientific landscape and the future job market's demands.

Al-Zahraa University for Women, guided by its steadfast religious and educational mission, is committed to molding the ideal student persona. This prestigious venue serves as a hub for hosting diverse academic, cultural, and scientific events, both local and international, equipped with professional audio-visual systems and supported by a control room overseeing a colossal electronic display screen. With a capacity to accommodate over 500 attendees across two tiers, this hall spans impressive dimensions with a height of 20 meters, a width of 11 meters, and a length of 30 meters, rendering it an ideal setting for a wide spectrum of occasions. Additionally, the university houses 27 specialized medical laboratories, outfitted to the highest international standards, furnished with advanced medical equipment, and complemented by medical gas networks. Further enriching the educational experience, the university's classrooms, each accommodating 60 students, are equipped with electronic teaching aids, computer facilities, and sound laboratories. Notably, six of these classrooms are outfitted with state-of-the-art interactive smart screens and equipment sourced from renowned global education technology companies. To ensure a comfortable and conducive learning environment, the university's four-story building features 14 relaxation areas, each replete with ample seating, providing a total capacity of 160 seats. Within our college, we offer an electronic library, providing students and faculty with access to comprehensive and reputable source materials. To facilitate communication between students and faculty outside regular hours, we have established online classrooms for each academic subject. These digital platforms are used for student inquiries, daily assessments, lecture delivery, sharing of useful links, and access to specialized academic resources. Recognizing the significant responsibility borne by graduates of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, we emphasize their role in the lives of individuals in our community. The college consists of three departments: Radiologic Technology, Anesthesia Technology, and Physical Therapy Technology. We follow an outstanding academic system and have adopted a well-structured and up-to-date curriculum that covers various specialized fields while providing all necessary resources, including highly qualified academic staff, well-equipped laboratories, and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Practical training is also a vital component, with annual internships in hospitals, allowing students to develop practical skills and prepare for the job market effectively. The College of Pharmacy acknowledges the significant responsibility of pharmacists in society and the importance of their role in the lives of our people. The College of Education is home to the Departments of Arabic Language, English Language, and Mathematics. Our unwavering commitment lies in the continuous development of innovative teaching methods for high school educators.
