About Al-Zahrawi University
Al-Zahrawi University was established in 2009 and officially recognized on August 29, 2013. The University aims to excel in academic and educational aspects by developing effective programs and preparing students to become leading members and contributors to society. The university has modern infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories to support educational programs effectively. At first, the university was offering bachelor degree in the following specializations: dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, medical laboratory analysis, optics techniques. Then, four more specializations were introduced to Al-Zahrawi University and these are: English language, medical physics, medical instruments techniques, cosmetic techniques and laser. Currently, the number of students in Al-Zahrawi University is more than 3,300. Recently, the name of the institute has been changed from “Al-Zahrawi University College” into “Al-Zahrawi University” as part of the development process.
