The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is the first American style, English language, liberal arts residential university in Eastern Europe. The university offers excellent U.S. education at a very competitive price, with outstanding alumni success worldwide. AUBG is accredited both in the United States by NEASC and in Europe by Bulgaria’s National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation. The university offers 13 bachelor programs, and an Executive MBA program.

Today AUBG is home to about 1,000 students from 40+ countries, and 70+ faculty from almost 20 counties. AUBG provides the best modern facilities in the region. From student accommodation to the fabulous award-winning building of  America for Bulgaria Student Center, we have a world-class residential compound.

Close to 5,000 alumni have graduated from AUBG in the past 30 years, with 99.8 % employed or enrolled in grad school within a few months of graduation. AUBG alumni score remarkable compensation results. Approximately 20% of graduates earn more than $100,000/year and over 20% of alumni from 1995-2005 who are currently working in the U.S. earn more than $250,000/year.
