Amity University - Maharashtra

Amity University Maharashtra (AUM) was established in 2014 as a Self-Financed State Private University recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) in India. AUM runs the Undergraduate (UG) and Post-Graduate (PG) & Ph.D. programs in the fields of Arts & Humanities, Engineering & IT, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. A number of batches have successfully graduated from the University, and we have more than 2000 alumni as of date.    

AUM Campus is an environment-friendly, vibrant and sustainable Campus consisting of architecturally striking buildings spread across 30 acres (12.1406 Hectare). The world-class State-of-the-art Infrastructure includes on-campus Hostels with occupancy of 1000 each for boys & girls. The Campus includes 5 acres (2.02343 Hectare) modern sports complex with facilities for Tennis Court, Cricket Field, Football Ground, Basketball Court & many other sports. Student-centric facilities like Food Plaza, ATM, Salon, Laundry, and Medical Centre are also available. The facilities for the Person with Disabilities (PWD) have also been developed on the Campus. University provides all support to students with learning disabilities. The University has a Counselling Centre with a helpline number to Improve Student Welfare and Wellbeing Quotient.  AUM has all unique facilities at one premise compared to the State, Central, and other Universities in the Nation. 

Amongst the 981 Government Universities and 376 Private Universities in India, AUM has established its good reputation in short tenure and was ranked amongst the top 200 Universities of the Country by the National Ranking Institutional Framework in 2020 rankings. The University has attracted students from all over the Country and Abroad. The University provides all necessary support regarding immigration and related activities to international students.

The flexible learning curriculum includes the Value Added courses on Behavioral Science, Foreign Languages, Spanish, German, and French, Communication Skills, and Choice Based Credit System, considering the international employment opportunities. The Unique feature of the UG curriculum at AUM is that we enable the students to select the Minor courses along with the Major area of specialization. After analyzing the Indian Universities listed in the top 200 of the QS Asia University Ranking 2020, it may be seen that AUM provides better academic flexibility. The Curriculum of UG & PG programs has a Summer Internship, which guarantees necessary industrial exposure to the students and builds their research writing skills. 

The University also signed a number of MoUs with various Industries for Research and student placements. The University has established a good reputation all over the Country, maintaining quality in education, research, and student-centric approach.
