Anhui Normal University

Founded in 1928, Anhui Normal University (AHNU) is the oldest public comprehensive university in Anhui Province, co-sponsored by the Anhui Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Education of China. Situated in Wuhu, a national open city conveniently connected to Shanghai and Nanjing, the campus spans 2,017,400 square meters. It employs around 2,800 faculty and staff, including over 1,000 professors and associate professors, with a total enrollment of 35,100 undergraduates and 9,600 postgraduates. The university delivers a complete academic system covering bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, offering 89 undergraduate programs, 30 master’s disciplines and 12 doctoral disciplines.

AHNU holds prestigious qualifications for international education. It is one of China’s earliest institutions authorized to recruit Chinese Government Scholarship students, designated as a National Base for Chinese Language Education, a provincial international exchange hub, and an official HSK test center. Accommodation fees range from 1,000 to 1,200 CNY per year, plus an 800 CNY annual insurance fee.
