Ba Ria - Vung Tau University

Ba Ria - Vung Tau University (BVU) was established under the Decision number 27/2006 /QD-TTg signed by Prime Minister on 27th January 2006. Over the past 10 years of development, BVU has endeavored to contribute many achievements in the fields of education, training, scientific research and gradually became the pride of Vung Tau people. Ba Ria - Vung Tau University is located in the coastal Vung Tau city of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, which is the gateway to the East Sea of the provinces in the Southeast and the center of economy, finance, culture, tourism, transport and education of the South East and convenient connection with Ho Chi Minh City and other surrounding provinces by land, air, waterway and railway. Owning many beautiful beaches and well-equipped infrastructure, Vung Tau City is a well-known tourist destination in the South and a logistics area of Vietnam's oil and gas industry. Our University is the only university in Vung Tau city, which is a training institution to provide multidisciplinary human resources for Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, neighboring provinces as well as the whole country. BVU is also a scientific research center of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, where research projects on the application and transferring of advanced science and technology have been carried out and applied in society and production. Moreover, BVU is accredited by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
