The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Barcelona GSE) is a small private university based in the popular Spanish city of Barcelona, offering a wide range of masters’ degrees in finance and economics to a highly international student body.
Barcelona GSE alumni have previously gone on to work in as many as 70 different countries, typically as economists, analysts, researchers and consultants, joining industries such as banking and financial services, as well as the public sector. An impressive 29% of alumni have gone on to pursue PhD study, in competitive programs in the US and Europe.
Master’s programs at Barcelona GSE cost between €16,000 (~US$17,900) and €18,000 (US$20,140) and last one year. The university also offers summer school programs, which last between one and two weeks, covering topics such as empirical banking and banking theory, and costing approximately €1,200 (US$1,340).
