BUCM consists of 13 schools and offers degree programs at undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels in Chinese Medicine. The schools are:School of Preclinical Medicine, the First School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (Dong Zhi Men Hospital), the Second School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (Dong Fang Hospital), the Third School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (the Third Affiliated Hospital), School of Chinese Materia Medica, School of Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina, School of Management, School of Nursing, School of Humanities, Graduate School, International School, School of Continuing Education and School of Distance Learning. Since its establishment, BUCM has continued to grow in size and status, building on the excellence of our scholarship and the talents of our students. Today, it delivers world-class degree programs, training and research across a wide range of subjects and is committed to offer the best possible educational, cultural and social experience for its students. BUCM is home for a vibrant community of 22,308 students from different backgrounds. Among the 10,581 full-time students enrolled at the university, 6,614 are undergraduate students (including 1254 international students); 1,406 are professional students (1,138 vocational students, 268 nursing students), 1,992 are Master students and 569 are PhD students. International students from some 52 countries and areas account for more than 15 percent of the total number of full-time students.They are enrolled in a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.
