Founded by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1874, BEM is one of the oldest "Grandes Ecoles" in France. It was chosen in 2004 by the UN and the EFMD to launch the "Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI)", which aims to train new generations of managers in responsible and ethical practices.
