Scientific-Educational and Industrial Complex "Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov", founded in 1993, is the largest educational institution in the region. The university hosts over 12,000 students, with 31.5% being international students. It offers programs in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English (at the Medical Faculty). The campus also hosts several international cultural and educational centers — including the Confucius Institute, the American Corner, and the Japanese Language Center — creating a dynamic multilingual and multicultural environment.
