CHERKASY STATE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Cherkasy State Technological University is the leading HEI in Cherkasy region. The educational programs, fundamental and applied scientific researchers aimed at achieving the SDGs conducted in university.

The major objective of Cherkasy State Technological University is to develop as an international university that follows high standards of educational services and research strategies. It is one of the leading higher educational institutions in Ukraine that supplies the home labour market with highly qualified specialists. Being in the market of educational services for more than 60 years, CSTU has become a well-established regional institution due to its achievements in educational and scientific fields. CSTU has acquired a reputation of a leading scientific and informational center in the Cherkassy region and beyond. It hosts international and Ukrainian scientific conferences, seminars, and symposiums that cover a wide range of research topics. The University structure comprises 7 faculties – Food Technology and Service Industry, Economics and Management, Humanitarian Technologies, Civil Engineering and Construction, Computerized, Engineering Technology and Design, Electronic Technologies and Robotics, Information Technologies and Systems and the Educational and Research Center for International Students. The University runs 12 scientific schools, headed by the leading scientists, and 2 specialized academic councils that award doctoral degrees in 3 technical and 2 economics specialties. About 5 doctoral and 50 candidate's dissertations are defended at the University annually.

The main directions of the University’s cooperation with foreign and domestic higher educational institutions and organizations are, first of all, mobility programs; also, joint scientific and research activity in the spheres of new technologies and equipment for machine-building and food industries, finance, information technologies and information security, civil engineering, economics, management, marketing, linguistics, tourism and hotel business, design; and, finally, multidisciplinary education, training and research. The internationalization of the University has been sustainably increasing during past three years, especially in the development of educational, scientific and technical cooperation with related institutions from European Union.
