In the current industrial context, all sectors are required to evolve to a situation that allows them to promote economic, social and industrial development, always under a new awareness of respect for the environment, sustainability in decision-making, and efficient strategies in the use of resources and energy. For this reason, any company needs to have a technical profile with a generalist vision, the ability to make decisions and design sustainable transition strategies that adapt development to the new environmentally responsible and energetically sustainable situation. The Master's Degree in Environment and Energy Transition was created to complement the Official Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, so that engineers are trained to be natural leaders in the process of sustainable environmental and energy transition.

The combined Official Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering + Master's Degree in Environment and Energy Transition has been designed to develop the skills and abilities of both degrees in two years. The increased course load requires a high capacity for organisation, study and work, an effort that is permanently guided by lecturers and tutors. In addition, students will be in permanent contact with the company, which participates as members of the teaching staff and offers full-time internships, including international internships.
