Curtin University is Western Australia’s largest university, welcoming more than 58,000 students, around a third of whom come from a country other than Australia.
In addition to our main campus in Perth, we have campuses in Dubai, Kalgoorlie, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as course delivery through more than 90 partner institutions worldwide.

Curtin's growing international reputation has seen it rise up the international university rankings in recent years. The University is now ranked in the top one per cent of universities worldwide in the prestigious Academic Ranking of World Universities 2017.

Curtin was also named the most collaborative university in Australia in the 2016 Nature Index and the third-fastest 'rising star' in terms of research in the Asia-Pacific.
The University is a leading research institution renowned for its strength in minerals and energy, defence, data analytics and emerging technologies, health sciences, astronomy, sustainable development and agriculture. The University engages in collaborative research with other reputable institutions and industry to produce research outcomes that positively impact local and global communities. Curtin leads a number of major international research projects and is involved with a number of research centres and collaborations, including the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy, the Centre for Crop and Disease Management and Innovation Central Perth.

Flexible study and student support
Study options are highly flexible, with part-time and online study helping postgraduates to fit study around a busy lifestyle. In 2016, more than half of postgraduate students at Curtin chose to study part-time.
For those who have been away from study for some time, Curtin offers a range of services and facilities to make the transition back to study as smooth as possible.
