The realistic hospital ward allows students to learn in a safe, simulated hospital setting, while the $32.5 million Curtin Engineering Pavilion Complex is designed to encourage collaboration with industry and academics. No matter the course, students have access to outstanding facilities that provide a holistic learning environment, as well as the chance to put the theory learned in the classroom, into practice.

Flexible entry options
If students don’t meet Curtin’s admission criteria, the University offers a range of flexible entry options.

UniReady is an online, one-semester program offered to domestic students in first and second semester, to fast-track the process of meeting Curtin’s admission criteria. Portfolio entry is available for selected courses and allows students to demonstrate evidence of their academic achievements, qualifications and ability. Curtin College offers various qualifications, ranging from Certificate IV to Diploma level, that can help students gain eligibility to apply to Curtin University. ‘Credit for recognised learning’ means that previous study or professional experience may count towards course units.

A scholarship from Curtin can offer financial, academic and career support throughout domestic and international students’ studies. There is a range of options available, including scholarships for students experiencing financial hardship, merit-based scholarships for high achievers, as well as faculty-specific scholarships.

Exchange opportunities
Curtin has campuses in Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore, and partnerships with universities across Europe, Asia and North America, enhancing study abroad and student exchange opportunities.
