Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky (DonNUET)

 Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky (DonNUET) - Ukrainian higher educational establishment with 98 years of history which predetermined the development of national economy of Ukraine by its educational and scientific activities, trained more than 150 thousand experts in the field of economics and trade, which was and remains the powerful research and educational centre.
The pioneers of the major innovations in the university’s activities, the main driving force of the development, leaders in science and education were university rectors, including the first rector M.V. Ptukha, then academician K.H. Voblyi, professors P.T. Rudenko, S.A. Minkevych, O. D. Ivanchykhin, O.A. Bairachnyi, F.D. Fesenko, V.M. Filippov, I.V. Soroka.
According to the State Accreditation Committee resolution on July 7, 1998 (Minutes № 15) the university was accredited as a whole as a higher educational establishment of the fourth level. In 2008, in connection with the planned accreditation, the university confirmed this status (certificate series RD-IV № 056307 of 11.11.2009 , Added: Series RD-IV № 0572886 of 15.12.2014).
Due to the complicated socio-political situation in the east of Ukraine and the continuation of the armed conflict in the city of Donetsk, according to the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1178 of 17 October 2014, DonNUET carries out its activities in the city of Kryvyi Rih.
After four years in exile, Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade:
    gradually restored the material and technical resources, which allow today to carry out educational process and scientific activity;
    preserved and qualitatively improved the academic staff;
    began to recover lost due to relocation positions in national and international ratings.
University has:
           3 educational and scientific institutes;
           2 colleges (The Kramatorsk College and The Mariupol College of Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade);
           4 research laboratories.
The Kramatorsk College of Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mikhailo Tugan-Baranovsky is a state higher educational institution subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, founded in 1962 by the order of the Ministry of Trade of the Ukrainian SSR, No. 124. The Mariupol College of Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mikhailo Tugan-Baranovsky is one of the most famous higher educational institutions in Ukraine of the I-II accreditation levels of the Pryazovsk industrial region.
University Development Strategy for 2016-2020 envisages improving the quality of specialists training on the ground of responsibility intensification of students and the educational institution for learning outcomes; introduction of new educational programmes, courses, trainings, disciplines; development of material and technical base; expanding of areas of fundamental and applied research; support of student government.
