Efrei, founded in 1936, is an engineering school specialized in information and digital technologies. Every year, the school grants up to 300 Master of Engineering degrees.Located in Paris, Efrei works in close partnership with a large number of companies, helping to meet both the academic and professional goals of roughly 1,300 students. Now with more than 7,300 alumni engineers working in France and internationally, Efrei is highly placed among the rankings of recruiting agencies and human resources departments of large companies.Efrei is a member of the “Conference des Grandes Ecoles” (CGE) and has been approved by the “Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur”, the only official accrediting body in France, to award Master of Engineering degrees since 1957.Today, young graduates from Efrei continue to play an innovative role in the in the field of information technology. Such notable alumni include: Adrien Touati (class of 2009), founder of GoProd, well-known for its many remarkable applications; Arnaud Meunier (class of 2006), developer of the Twitoaster app which was showcased in a 2009 New York Times article by columnist David Pogue; Mathieu Nebra (class of 2008), creator of the renowned IT website Site du Zéro; and Thomas Albisser and Romain Vailleux (class of 2009), founders of the green IT company Hop-Cube.
