University information

All applications go through the online portal on their website. Candidates upload their documents online and pay the application fee to submit their application. Next, EMLV Business School will schedule an online interview to assess the candidate’s profile and motivations. Applications open in October and close in early July. There is only one intake per year in September or October. If candidates are admitted, they must pay the deposit to secure their place on the programme. They will then receive an official enrolment letter, which will allow them to start their visa application.

Candidates will need a CV, motivation letter, a copy of their grade transcripts and any degrees they already hold, their language test score (if applicable), a copy of their passport, and a photograph of themselves. See the programme pages for specific courses requirements.

Candidates must also demonstrate, if English is not their first language, a B2 level. They should provide a test score (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Cambridge). If English is their first language or if they have graduated from a programme taught in English, then they do not need to present an official test score. All of their English-taught programmes have compulsory French classes included as part of the tuition fees. Students will sit a French test to find their level and be allocated an appropriate group.

Student life

EMLV Business School aims to prepare their students to become global managers ready to innovate and manage complex challenges. Their mission is to drive innovation in teaching and research to provide a global and responsible mindset and multidisciplinary skills that address the challenges for sustainable business and digital environments. In particular, their Master in Management is recognised by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

To support new students, they have their ‘Welcome Desk’ service, which is dedicated to making student arrival as smooth as possible. This includes assistance with finding accommodation, visa validation and renewal, campus integration, opening a bank account, getting a phone subscription, getting a public transport card, and applying for social security and housing aid.

Outside of their studies, the student associations give students the opportunity to develop their behavioural qualities within the framework of a voluntary and optional commitment while supported by the school and which can be valued by a mark. The richness of this experience allows students to forge new skills and social links that will be useful throughout their career. They are supervised by the student life department, which has a team that leads, structures and evaluates the management of student associations. On top of this, more than 300 events take place every year on their campus. This includes theme days, competitions, trips, parties and more, and gives everyone the opportunity to get involved.

The school does not own or manage its own accommodation. Instead they have a partnership with a dedicated online housing search platform. Once students have paid the deposit, they are granted access to that platform to begin their search. Through this, students can find a rental close to the campus of Paris-La Défense, find roommates and form shared rentals, find a subletting or even find a room in a French family.
