About ESA Business School

With its mission to form the elite of Lebanon and the region into the leaders of tomorrow, ESA has become a beacon of academic excellence within Lebanon, and a platform for interaction and meetings between Europe, the Middle East and Lebanon. ESA Business School was established in 1996. The idea behind creating an important business school in Beirut came from, and was promoted—in particular towards the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry—by Professor Fayek Abillama, who was also the President of the Alumni Association at HEC, Lebanon. At the same time, Mr. Jean-Pierre Lafon—former Ambassador of France to Lebanon—convinced of the necessity of increasing Franco-Lebanese cooperation in matters of education, adopted the idea of creating a Business School to address the needs of the business community. With its mission to form the elite of Lebanon and the region into the leaders of tomorrow, ESA has become a beacon of academic excellence within Lebanon, and a platform for interaction and meetings between Europe, the Middle East and Lebanon. Paying keen attention to businesses and their needs, ESA assists them in developing their visions, and helps them better achieve their objectives by training and coaching their executives and managers.
