About ESRA Groupe

Created in 1972, the ESRA Group is now present in Paris, Nice and Rennes as well as in Brussels. It also includes an optional year in New York and, since this year, a School in partnership with Fudan University, Shanghai’s leading university.

The purpose of the programs is to provide its students with theoretical and practical training in the fields of film and television, sound and music and animation. The ESRA Group counts among its former students a number of directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, producers, sound engineers, etc…

With four diplomas recognised in France by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the ESRA Group is the leading group in private film education in Europe. Created in 1972, it counts today more than 8,000 alumni in the Film and TV industry around the world.

Since 2016 in Paris, ESRA International has been providing the same high quality education to students from around the world. The programs are divided equally between theoretical knowledge and practical workshops allowing the students to always find use to the theory and building progressively their artistic and technical knowledge from beginner to professional.
