The BSc in Accounting at EUC prepares students to achieve great success in today’s accounting industry.   Accountants are always in high demand. Students earn up to 9 exemptions for the ACCA and up to 12 exemptions for the ICAEW (ACA) while completing their bachelor’s degree to fast-track their completing professional qualifications. Internships connect students with the “Big Four” global accounting firms as well as with other international and local accounting firms, corporations and government sector agencies.

*Proof of English language proficiency: Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 79 (Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS (Academics) with a score of 6. 5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.

Founded in 1961, European University Cyprus (EUC) was granted university status in 2007. It is the first Greek university to be awarded the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Label by the European Commission, one of only 40 European institutions with this distinction. EUC has a student enrolment of 10,000+. European University Cyprus has a strong commitment to community service and environmental sustainability..

EUC is located in Nicosia, Cyprus’ capital and largest city. The university is situated near the center of political, economic and cultural activity in the country. EUC has recently expanded and opened a new campus, consists of modern facilities, well-equipped laboratories, amphitheatre lecture halls, student apartments and entertainment venues.

EUC’s Center for Applied Research was established in 1991 as an independent, non-governmental institution, providing market research, training, and consultancy services to public and private sector clients. The Center also emphasizes the importance of accurate, ethical data collection, sharing the findings of CAR projects as widely as possible. EUC’s faculty collaborates with scientists from some of world’s best universities including Harvard, Oxford, Imperial College London, Cambridge, University College London, King’s College London, Queen Mary,  and the University of London. EUC’s researchers coordinate or participate in a number of prestigious projects funded by the European Commission and the Research Promotion Foundation in Cyprus.

All Master’s and PhD Programs have been approved by the Accreditation Committee of Private Universities of the Ministry of Education and Culture and are recognized worldwide. European University Cyprus has six schools: the School of Arts and Education Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Sciences, the School of Medicine and the School of Law.
