Our dedication to small-class sizes means there are limited spaces for our programmes. We recommend that students apply early if they want to guarantee a place in their desired programme. Our application process includes an online Application Form to fill in and documents to provide. Once this is submitted, we invite you to chat with a current Forward College student. Forward College provides a unique multicultural environment where students spend their first year in Lisbon, their second in Paris, and their third in Berlin, where they have their classes in person in our learning centres. We guarantee housing each year, so there is no organisational hassle during the summer.

Year 1 - Lisbon : Forward’s learning centre is spread across two locations in the centre of Lisbon: the Flores building and the Pink Palace. The student residence is located in Benfica, a 20-minute metro ride from the learning centres.

Year 2 - Paris : Students both live and study at the Cité Internationale Universitaire (CIUP), located in the 14th Arrondissement in the southern part of the city. The teaching and learning spaces are located in La Maison Internationale, with the accommodation a few minutes' walk away.

Year 3 - Berlin : The learning centre is located in Kreuzberg, in the southeast of Berlin. Forward College has partnered with multiple student residences across the city, providing diverse options to suit individual preferences for neighbourhoods, pricing, amenities, and living arrangements.

Student life

Studying at Forward College is a unique chance for students to step out of their comfort zone and engage with local communities and different cultures. Our students, representing 33 nationalities, live together in dedicated student residences to nurture a rich community life where it’s easy to make friends.

Our programme is designed to nurture students’ curiosity, enrich their understanding, and help them build bridges across different contexts. These skills will be an asset as they take their next steps in today’s globalised living, socialising, and working environments.

Through dedicated intercultural classes, learning expeditions, cultural activities with a local focus, conferences, and real-world project work, students will be encouraged to engage with the contexts in which they will be living for a year.

Additionally, they will have the opportunity to be involved in student governance committees and in the creation of student clubs. These are designed by students and for students to engage in extracurricular activities and range from sports to cultural activities, community service, or learning languages.

Most of our graduates apply to top Master’s programmes around the world, either following the academic field they have invested in—with a natural path towards Master’s programmes at LSE and King’s College London—or by switching to top European business schools. Our highly personalised teaching maximises students’ academic performance so that they achieve excellent grades in their Bachelor’s degree.

  • 70% of our students were admitted to Master’s programmes at top 10 European universities or business schools among the 60% who decided to go straight into Master’s studies after graduating. University College London, Sciences Po, The University of Edinburgh, LSE, and King's College London are just a few of the universities where our students have been accepted into master's programmes.

  • 40% take a professional gap year and intern in leading companies like EY, L’Oréal, or embassies, and startups.
