GD Goenka University

The GD Goenka University is a single-campus university located in the GD Goenka Education City, showcasing modern facets of superlative technology and spread over 20 acres situated in the beautiful foothills of the Aravalli Range, Sohna Gurgaon Road, just 31 km from Delhi's International Airport. The university is endowed with state-of-the-art infrastructure, an air-conditioned and well-maintained Wi-Fi enabled campus, well-equipped and hi-tech laboratories.

The entire campus is broadly divided into several distinct zones, including academic, academic-support, cultural, yoga, games (both indoor and outdoor) and general campus facilities.

  Academic zone classroom  and laboratory: There are 108 LCD, smart board/ICT-enabled classrooms, tutorial/seminar/conference halls, including theme-based studios and engineering drawing halls. For a qualitative conducting and rendering of teaching, the classrooms are designed for a capacity of 30 to 100 students with a sufficient LAN-based network, giving internet access to faculty and students separately.

Centre and in different schools are 73 academic labs equipped with modern, dynamic tools and technology to constructively allow the students to centric learning, while providing exposure to high-end instruments. The laboratories are designed with the adequate safety features required, resulting in an overall productive and inclusive ambience for knowledge acquisition. In which 10 labs are allocated for computing and 22 labs for research. Some notable facilities labs supported by the latest and sophisticated Central Instrument Lab (CIL), Personality Development Lab, Training Restaurant, Bakery, Hot Kitchen, Demo Kitchen, Housekeeping Lab, Centre for Excellence in Occupational Health, Safety, Fire & Environment, Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE), Department of International Partnerships and Student Mobility, Radio and TV studios, etc. Each constituent school and University Department is provided with academic, administrative and support needs as prescribed by respective statutory bodies’ viz. the State Government of Haryana, Department of Higher Education Haryana, the Bar Council of India, the Pharmacy Council of Indi a.

Apart from the 8 Schools, the University has adequate facilities for cultural activities, yoga, games (indoor, outdoor) and gymnasium, yoga centre: The GD Goenka University wholesomely invests in augmenting the overall growth of the students by creating and providing adequate facilities for holding Sports events, Cultural and other co-curricular activities. Annual techno-cultural fest ACCELERON, accelerates the cultural ethos in the campus by holding various events and competitions, stimulating both scientific and artistic faculties of Students.  Other cultural events like, Udyami Bazaar – The Genesis of Student Entrepreneurship, ensures cultivation of business pitched ideas in young entrepreneurs, while giving them a platform for showcasing their novel business narratives and ventures. The Board of Student Activities (BSA) is established, where the student representatives from the University constantly engage and execute various Cultural activities and performances, involving music, dance, theatre, debates and discussions to knot more threads of students holistic growth.

The annual sports extravaganza SPORTOPIA is organized inviting students from other Universities, colleges and institutes, where competitive spirit is injected with a feeling of excitement, stimulation and enhanced physical and mental ability.
