Master of Science in Business Analytics

Throughout the online Master’s in Business Analytics program, you will complete 18 courses that demonstrate how to analyze data and derive valuable insights across all business functions, and to lead change within organizations. You will explore case studies, use real-world databases, and learn how to use the latest analytics tools and technologies.

The program includes two required & intensive five-day residencies where students earn credit, meet faculty and students in their cohort, and connect with program resources. It concludes with a capstone project that applies the concepts, methods, and tools learned in the program to a business analytics challenge with a local, national, or global sponsor.

Students also participate in hands-on training and demonstrations from both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft to build the comprehensive data skills needed for success in the field. Through independent collaborations with both companies, Georgetown provides students with hands-on, dynamic learning opportunities using industry tools for cloud computing such as AWS and others, as well as top data visualization tools including Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
