Switzerland

Studying in Switzerland puts you at the heart of Europe; with capital cities, five-star attractions and many places of cultural and artistic interest all within close reach.

Some of the cities that our students regularly visit are Milan, Lyon, Annecy, Chamonix and Turin. In addition, students can join trips that are more adventurous or sports-focused, such as canyoning, paragliding, skiing, tobogganing or rafting.

Sometimes excursions are organized around events, such as the Lausanne Marathon, or to theme parks like Europa Park. Other trips include paintballing, cultural outings, vineyards, the Strasbourg Christmas Market and Swiss Discovery Tours.

London

As the only Swiss hospitality school with a London campus, we offer the opportunity to study in the city regularly ranked the world’s number one destination for international students.

What makes London so special? Too much to list here, but 250 festivals each year, plus around 70 Michelin-starred restaurants and more than 120 five-star hotels, not to mention world-class culture and sports, make this a truly epic destination for those seeking a rich social life.

Aside from London, the UK offers strikingly diverse places and cultures to explore, from the rocky shores and lakes of Scotland to the sandy beaches and resort towns of the southern coast.

You may not have time to discover it all, but a few weekend trips are enough to see some stunning scenery.

Hospitality is more than an industry. It is a state of mind. A commitment to service excellence, embellished by the personal qualities of empathy, cultural fluency, resilience and professional polish which are so highly valued within every customer facing sector.

As a Glion graduate, you will go out into the professional world having developed these qualities and, more importantly, practiced them in real-life settings. It will make you exceptionally employable – with 98% of our job-seeking students having at least one employment offer upon graduation.

And it gives you outstanding career versatility: 52% of our alumni go into tourism, hospitality and F&B (food and beverage), while 48% move into a wide spectrum of other sectors including FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), luxury goods and services, aviation, marketing, events, banking and finance.
