Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, is the largest University of Applied Sciences in the northern part of the Netherlands and is located in the vibrant city of Groningen, the youngest and one of the best student cities in Holland. With over 25,000 students and a wide range of bachelor programmes, Hanze is home to more than 80 different nationalities. Hanze (UAS), has a wonderful green and modern campus with a lot modern facilities to offer its students. It offers various fully-taught programmes in English and works closely together with partner institutes from all over the world. The institution has a strong link with industry and entrepeneurship, both in the region and worldwide. In the international programmes, therefore, students are encouraged to spend part of their studies abroad. Education at Hanze is practice-oriented and competence-based, with work placements, real-life cases and many lecturers who have their roots in the field. Classes are small, many of the courses are project-based, and a tutor usually helps the student in his study progress.
