The HfMT renders its students the possibility of numerous performances with varied audiences and has firmly established itself with more than 400 events annually within the cultural life of Hamburg. Courses are generally in German. To prove their artistic-scientific competency, candidates from non-German-speaking countries must provide a certificate of proficiency with the German language on B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
