About Hotelschool The Hague
Hotelschool The Hague is a single-sector university of applied sciences in The Netherlands. It was founded and funded in 1929 by the hospitality industry to create a hub where industry partners could gain and share new insights, skills and knowledge. Since then, it has become a professional operation with a solid international reputation in hospitality management. Though Hotelschool The Hague has expanded considerably over the years, it has always remained true to its original mandate with a clear commitment to hospitality and a strong connection with the industry.
The ‘core business’ of the hotel school has also stayed the same: a hub where students can develop, conduct research and share their hospitality knowledge and skills in a realistic setting and hone their leadership talent for a successful career in the industry.

Campus Amsterdam
Studying on our campus in Amsterdam offers the perk of being close by a central urban oasis, the Rembrandt Park. Conveniently located in Amsterdam West, the Hotelschool The Hague campus is easily reached by tram, bus, and naturally, bike. On campus, you will find a number of healthy food options in La Mangerie, Les Saveurs and Le Début , our fine dining restaurant, produced and prepared by our students using locally grown ingredients. When on campus in Amsterdam keep your eyes open for Streats, HTH’s food truck concept that travels the streets within and outside the city to promote sustainability and make a social impact.

Our recently renovated campus in The Hague is a future-proof establishment that has raised the bar for sustainable hospitality education. Its modern facilities, just a stone’s throw from the Scheveningen beach, make it the ideal setting for international networking as it welcomes students from all over the world. The five food concepts on its premises (Zinq, The Bar, Le Début, Food Court, Roots) are fully operated by our students as part of their practical training. Housing facilities for first-year students are located nearby, offering them a welcoming and close-knit community from the very first moment they join Hotelschool The Hague.

Student life in Amsterdam
The city of Amsterdam is daily buzzing with cultural events for every taste and budget, while the city centre’s diverse culinary scene is not to be missed. Amsterdam may be the country's capital, but it does not fail to give its residents and visitors a cosier vibe. Its lovely canals, over 1,500 bridges, 17th-century merchant houses, and laid-back atmosphere make it a great city to study and live in. When in Amsterdam, don’t forget to wander through the city on a bike or on the water level during a canal cruise.
