Student life

At ICN, student life is built around two pillars: personalised support and community.

Personal tutoring (PEPS)
Every student is assigned a personal tutor, with a unique support model of 1 professor for every 3 students. This helps students stay on track academically, build confidence, and reflect on career plans throughout the programme.

A strong campus community
ICN offers an active student experience through student societies and initiatives that help international students integrate quickly and find their community across campuses.

Accommodation
ICN does not operate university-owned housing, so students arrange accommodation independently. International students are supported through dedicated resources and housing platforms.

Cost of Living

Studying at ICN means choosing between three European cities with different lifestyles and budgets.

Nancy   is one of the most student-friendly and affordable cities in France. International students typically find it easier to manage a comfortable lifestyle, especially for accommodation.

Paris La Défense   offers the energy and opportunities of the Greater Paris business hub. Costs are higher than Nancy, particularly for housing, but students benefit from strong transport connections and proximity to major companies.

Berlin   combines a creative, international atmosphere with a strong start-up and innovation ecosystem. Living costs are generally more accessible than central Paris, while still offering a major European capital experience.

Tip for international students: plan your budget primarily around accommodation, and apply early, especially for Paris.
