Overview

Established in 2001, the Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school with two outstanding campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali.

Through its innovative postgraduate programs, outstanding faculty, as well as alliances with schools such as Kellogg School of Management and Wharton Business School, the Indian School of Business looks to create young leaders who not only have an understanding of developing economies, but also possess a global perspective.

The Indian School of Business is AACSB and EQUIS accredited and aims to utilize its knowledge and expertise to engage with business, government and society. It also aims to contribute to the welfare and development of the community not only on a local level, but on a national and global level too.

The Indian School of Business’s two campuses, Hyderabad and Mohali were both designed and developed in line with LEED Platinum standards.

They offer all necessary amenities and facilities for students, staff and faculty to enjoy, including lecture theatres, Learning Resources Center, Wellness Center, dining areas as well as recreational spaces. Whether you like to swim, enjoy playing football or basketball, or going to the gym, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.


The Indian School of Business welcomes applications from students all over the world, and is home to an incredibly diverse campus.

Postgraduate students regularly organize events such as the business school’s flagship student and industry connect event, ‘IBS Leadership Summit (ILS)’, ‘Advaita’ which is the finance council, as well as ‘Bandhan’ which is the social event, along with the ISB sports league amongst various other international case competitions.

Student accommodation

Students live on campus for the entire duration of their degree. There are student quads and studio apartments available for students who wish to bring their families. Support staff are also on hand to help with housekeeping and other duties within the student accommodation.





If you’re an international student who’s interested in applying to the Indian School of Business, you will need to possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
  • Valid GMAT/GRE score
  • At least two years of full-time work experience by March 31st, 2020
  • TOEFL/IELTS score (only if the language of instruction at undergraduate study level is not English)

You will also be required to pay an admissions fee which is the same for both domestic and international students.

Financial aid, including scholarships are also available.

ISB offers scholarship up to 100% for International Students.

In 2019, the Indian School of Business ranked third in the world for salary increase. There were also over 1,300 offers from 200 companies to 885 of the school’s graduating students.
