Indiana University of Pennsylvania, known as IUP, is a research and student-centered learning community. The university offers more than 140 undergraduate programs of study, 56 master’s degree programs, and 14 doctoral programs.

Nearly 10,000 students are enrolled in accredited and nationally recognized programs. Students excel in traditional programs such as anthropology and philosophy or career-oriented programs such as safety sciences and nursing. Professors care about their students and help them succeed by involving them in hands-on research and projects that prepare them for work, life, and citizenship.

IUP is situated in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania, which is just a short drive from Pittsburgh, three hours from Cleveland, and about four hours from Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
