About International Information Technology University
International Information Technology University (IITU), established in 2009, is situated in Almaty, the business capital of Kazakhstan.
IITU is the only university in Kazakhstan that received the ASIIN institutional international accreditation in 2019 and passed the procedure of official confirmation of compliance with international standards.
IITU has partnered with over 70 universities in North America, Europe and East Asia and the CIS, offering bachelor's and master's exchange and double degree programs, collaborative forums and research opportunities, summer schools and study abroad programs.
IITU provides a wide range of study abroad programs and invites international faculty and students. Also, the university aims to foster cultural diversity in its curriculum and university environment. A ccording to the rating of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", IITU entered the TOP 3 universities of Kazakhstan, as well as the first place in such educational programs as "information systems" and "electronic journalism".
IITU has implemented distance learning across four platforms: IS Campus; LMS MOODLE; Microsoft Teams; and MOOC Coursera. IITU became the first partner of the world leader in online education Coursera for Campus in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Coursera implementing blended learning in educational programs.
The main language of teaching at IITU is English.
