Karaganda Industrial University is a leading scientific and educational center of Central Kazakhstan and a recognized leader in the field of metallurgy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The University offers a three-cycle degree system: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes. Master’s programmes are implemented in metallurgy, materials science, chemical technology, mechanical engineering, electric power engineering, automation, technological machinery and equipment, occupational safety, construction, economics, as well as Business Administration (MBA) . In national rankings, the University’s programmes consistently hold leading positions.

Doctoral (PhD) programmes are offered in metallurgy, nanotechnology and nanomaterials, automation and control , engineering of technological machines and equipment , and chemical technology of organic substances . Educational and research activities are supported by advanced research infrastructure, including the Engineering Profile Laboratory “Electron Microscopy and Nanotechnology” , which enables doctoral students to conduct full-cycle scientific research.
