Take a virtual tour of the KTU Campus.

KTU Campus Library, which opened in 2022, offers a cosy and bright functional environment for individual study and teamwork. During the busy periods in the semester, the library is open 24/7.

KTU, the main provider of research services for business and industry boasts impressive research facilities. In addition to state-of-the-art laboratories designed for studies, such as FabLab, Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, Auto Diagnostics Lab and others, the laboratories of M-Lab Interdisciplinary Prototyping Centre, Santaka Valley and the Faculties equipped with the newest technology are open to student research and studies.

KTU has a total of 12 dormitory buildings with the capacity to accommodate about 2,500 students. In recent years, the university campus grounds have undergone rapid renovation – the freshly paved bicycle roads and walkways, and recreational facilities are perfectly suited for active outdoor activities. The ongoing student residencies’ reconstruction will see half of the dormitories entirely renovated by 2025. The main campus of KTU – where the main buildings of the engineering and technology faculties, as well as dormitories, are located – is next to the most beautiful neighbourhood of the city. The oak grove Ąžuolynas, the largest urban forest in Europe of mature oaks covering 84 hectares, is just a short stroll away from the campus. Walking through quiet streets lined with Kaunas’ signature modernist architecture, one can reach the city centre on foot.

According to national rankings, KTU graduates are among the most sought-after in the job market. Maintaining close links with industry and business means that the university is attuned to the job market needs – by involving industry representatives in the study process, organising internships in Lithuania and abroad, and providing career services for the students. KTU Career and Service Centre organises the largest career fair in the Baltics – KTU WANTed Career Days, attended by more than 10 thousand visitors and around 150 local and international companies. KTU records reveal that around 80% of the university graduates are employed within 12 months after graduation; the majority of them – in high value-added industries.
