Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies is a science university – a leader in the creation of innovations related to the bioeconomy and related industries and in the sustainable use of natural resources in the Baltic Sea region, contributing to the introduction of innovations in the national economy to promote the balanced development of Latvia’s regions and improvement of the quality of life of society.
The Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) implements its strategy as a modern, open, inclusive, innovative university with a sustainable development vision in various areas of the national economy. Life sciences, which are also integrated into other areas of strategic specialisation determined by LBTU, are considered to be the unique field of the University’s activity.
