Bachelor’s and master’s candidates can apply online. LIM College accepts applications on a rolling basis up to the beginning of their autumn and spring semesters until all openings are filled, though they encourage applying as early as possible due to limited class sizes. Early Action admissions is available and includes an Early Action Interview.
The application is available online. A $40 non-refundable application fee (or approved fee waiver) is required and applicants must submit official high school, college or undergraduate transcripts. Optional aspects for bachelor’s candidates include an Activity Sheet detailing work and volunteer experiences plus any extracurricular activities and achievements, and SAT or ACT scores. There may also be an interview. Master’s candidates are required to submit their resume, an essay, a letter of recommendation, and attend an interview. The process is the same for online study. If a candidate is currently or has ever been enrolled in a college or university as a degree-seeking student, they can apply as a transfer student. Transcript evaluation may be required for international applicants. Candidates may need to provide a Form I-20. On top of this, international candidates whose native language is not English must submit a TOEFL, IELTS or PTE.

LIM College has two academic buildings in midtown Manhattan, Maxwell Hall and Fifth Avenue. Based in New York City, LIM is at the centre of fashion and business, creating amazing opportunities for students. Candidates can visit the campus in-person or tour virtually.
Maxwell Hall includes a wide range of student services, including the Office of Student Life, counseling, accessibility services, academic advising, and the admissions office. There's also multiple student lounge and computer lab spaces, plus a delicious coffee, breakfast and lunch spot called Pickler & Co, making Maxwell Hall a great spot for students to take a break or meet with friends before or after class.
Fifth Avenue is home to classrooms, student lounges, and visual studies and fashion merchandising studios. This space is directly above the NBA store and students will find also find a Color & Materials lab, computer labs, and a photo studio there. Fifth Avenue is also home to the offices of The Lexington Line, which is LIM's student-run fashion and lifestyle magazine.
Student housing is offered at the modern and attractive FOUND Study - Midtown East student residence, which is a 10-minute walk from LIM's academic buildings.
LIM College also has strong online learning offerings. Students can study at LIM College from anywhere, logging in to complete weekly coursework at a time that suits them. In fact, LIM College was ranked in the U.S. News & World Report's 2022 ‘List of Best Online Bachelor's Degree Programs’ and ‘Best Online Graduate Business Degree Programs’.

LIM College offers student accommodation at the FOUND Study - Midtown East residence hall, or students can find their own accommodation. LIM College has two dedicated floors at FOUND Study. This modern student residence is in the heart of Manhattan on Lexington Avenue at East 51st Street, a quick walk from both of LIM's academic buildings and steps from multiple subway and bus lines. It features double rooms with private bathrooms (some have kitchenettes too), a fitness centre, 24hr security, laundry machines on every floor, a communal kitchen and dining room, and a rooftop lounge is scheduled to open in 2023.

In fact, 95% of LIM College's Class of 2021 were working in the business of fashion and its related fields or continuing their education within 6 months of graduation. Additionally, 98% of internship employers view LIM students as career-ready.
