About Manhattan University
Since 1853, Manhattan University graduates have helped to build New York City, literally and figuratively. Graduates of our engineering, business and sciences programs have gone on to have distinguished careers in both the private and public sector, helped by access to accomplished faculty and the world's most recognized companies. Our STEM-designated graduate programs offer admitted international students the ability to enhance their skills and marketability with extended experiential learning through OPT.
Our business programs are AACSB accredited and the engineering programs are ABET accredited.
Manhattan University accepts students who have completed both four-year and three-year degree programs within India. Three-year degree programs must be NAAC A (and higher) accredited.
While the university doesn't require a GMAT/NMAT/GRE score, a transcript with a First Class/Second Class Distinction is encouraged. A holistic approach to application review is used by the admissions team. Resumes, letters of recommendation, personal statements and interviews are used to supplement transcripts and test scores.
The university offers two intake periods -- the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
Manhattan University provides visa support to its admitted students. I-20 applications can be processed within 48 hours if all materials are provided. Letters of support can be issued for emergency interview requests. Pre-departure and arrival sessions are offered by university personnel.
On campus housing is guaranteed for all graduate students, if desired. The university is located on a private, green campus, with a metro station that offers access to internships and all that the city offers within a matter of minutes.
