MOTILAL NEHRU NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ALLAHABAD

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT or NIT Allahabad), formerly Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), is a public higher education institute located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the National Institutes of Technology, and like the rest of them, classified as an Institute of National Importance. The college has the distinction of being the first in the country to start an undergraduate program in Computer Science & Engineering in 1976-77. It has a lush green 200-acre campus and is equipped with amenities such as hostel and sports facilities.  In 2021, the MNNIT Allahabad is ranked 42nd among all engineering colleges with one of the best placement records in all NITs. Among all NITs, our undergraduate students secured the highest average median salary in the campus placement.
