Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU) is a large government funded university providing a broad range of Higher Education and training services in the lower Northeastern region of Thailand. NRRU was originally founded in 1913 as a teacher training school, commonly known as Krumoon Nonsung. It then gradually progressed to become Nakhon Ratchasima Teachers’ College before finally being conferred from an “Institute” to a “University” on 15 June 2004.
NRRU has a long and rich history. It was formerly recognized as a high quality teachers’ college which then later extended into other fields and disciplines. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs and also provides various kinds of support for university staff. NRRU is now confident in moving further and offering not just Master’s Programs but also Doctoral Programs.
The university mission is to provide Higher Education, professional training centers, teaching and research plus academic services to the community, as well as seeking to improve, transfer and develop knowledge in the fields of technology, art and cultural resource conservation and to produce a high standard of qualified teachers and educational staff.
