There are 7 PhD courses such as Physics; Chemistry; Informatics and Computer Science; Electronics, Radio Engineering and Telecommunications; Photonics, Machinery, Optical and Bioengineering Systems and Technologies; Economics; Philosophy, Ethics and Religious studies. Duration of training: MSc/MA – 2 academic years, PhD – 3 years.Currently degrees of Specialist and Candidate of Science (prerequisite: Master or Specialist degree) are available. The degree of Doctor of Science (prerequisite: Candidate of Science or a PhD degree) is the highest. There are 17 Candidate of Science and 10 Doctor of Science specialties.
