National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"

It is one of the oldest world-known higher education institutions in Ukraine,training highly skilled specialists in the wide range of academic fields for different economic and social sectors of Ukraine and foreign countries.About 200000 professionals have been prepared within 120-year history of its existence.Training is carried out in 19 educational departments, 10 educational-research institutes, 13 research institutes, 17 scientific subdivisions.More than 32000 students,including foreign citizens from 27 countries study here.Lecture halls and laboratories are equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment enabling to conduct the academic process and scientific researchers by qualified lecturers,famous scientists of Ukraine,to introduce modern educational technologies using local/global computer networks,to provide the quality of education at the level of the world-recognized universities.Students' democratic traditions are the integral part of the University history.Self-government bodies actively participate in the University government complementing each other,involving the students into important educational,scientific,social issues,organization of leisure,spiritual and sport development. Igor Sikorsky KPI fruitfully cooperates with 112 technical universities from 36 countries,participates in international educational and scientific projects and programs.All of aforesaid certifies the University openness,its aspiration to the integration processes peculiar to today’s world.
