About Navoi State University
Navoi State University is an institute with strong scientific potencial, a modern training system and favorable learning conditions , which trains teaching staff in a wide range of areas. The training of highly qulified teaching staff, the upbringing of a harmonious generation, ensuring their continuity in the formation of a decent personality in society, as well as the implementation of international cooperation projects are the priorities of our multi-level higher education institution based on a multi-level system of personnel training. Navoi State University traces its roots back to 1983, when it was founded under a resolution by the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek. In a significant milestone, it was officially recognized as Navoi State Pedagogical Institute by Presidential Decree on February 28, 1992. Since then, it has evolved into a dynamic, multidisciplinary university, playing a key role in the educational landscape of Uzbekistan. Today, the university spans six key locations across Navoi city, with eight academic buildings that can accommodate over 5,600 students at a time. In addition to modern classrooms, the campus features five well-equipped sports grounds, two indoor gyms, and three student kitchens serving a variety of traditional Uzbek and international cuisines. Students can pursue degrees in medicine, history, arts, natural sciences, and English language and literature, among others — with pedagogy available in English as well. Navoi State University is currently home to more than 9 ,000 full-time students and over 5,000 part-time learners, including those enrolled in evening programs.
