New Vision University is a civic, non-profit institution, established in 2013 in Georgia, with a unique identity and mission - NVU aims to expand human vision through promotion of education, research and innovation. The University inspires individuals to advance and share knowledge, skills and values to contribute to the well-being of society. NVU is committed to social responsibility and also promotes equal access of education to students from around the world.

NVU aspires to create an open, innovative and collaborative environment, to ensure student engagement and to serve the society on a national and international scale. Upholding equal access and equity, it adheres to diverse student-centered education and lifelong learning opportunities. By collaborating with stakeholders in civic society, state and industry, NVU strives to spread knowledge and innovation in local and global communities. Committed to the establishment of an eco-friendly environment, NVU supports environmental education to enable people to better understand and act collaboratively for its protection. NVU is committed to the creation and dissemination of knowledge and the preparation of professionals to support economic growth and sustainability. 

New Vision University’s academic strength is rooted in the academic staff with diverse education experience, aiming at creating and disseminating knowledge and innovation. NVU offers the synergy of regional and western educational and scientific expertise, to ensure strong ties with the priorities of the labor market on a national and international level. NVU aims to implement integrated and multidisciplinary educational programs, with an exceptional focus on general and leadership skills, as well as the common values.

To timely respond to the ever-changing local and international market challenges, NVU sees the increasing opportunity in the internationalization of academic staff and curriculum, which is the main factor in the internationalization of education. NVU also fosters diversity in the student body and the creation of an international network of students and alumni from all over the world - Students from over 87 countries have already studied at NVU. Students are offered various opportunities for exchange programs with NVU partner universities.

NVU, together with striving for academic and research excellence, in accordance with its mission, has been supporting well-being of the society with the help of the university community. Sustainability and social responsibility are the core of the University activities.

NVU owns several community engagement centers and has established different companies through endowments, namely: New Vision University Hospital, New Vision Insurance, Human Life Quality Enhancement Center, Dental Clinic, Clinical Skills Laboratory and Training Center, Legal Aid Center. University students are integral members of the university-owned companies’ and centers’ community.

NVU has three research laboratories with leading modern technologies, supporting research activities of staff and students: Zeiss Microscopy Education and Research Center; Biomedicine Research laboratory and Blood Bank; DNA sequencing and PCR Lab. The university supports community-driven research and involvement of young researchers.

NVU also supports the sports development and together with the university sports club, is the owner of regional football team, football academy for children and a founder of children’s Para-Sport Development Association.

Through many social responsibility projects ran by NVU, the latest is to support health of women and together with subsidizing costs of medical services to women, personalized Women’s Healthcare Program will allow 1000 female teachers to benefit from free medical services.
