About New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver
Welcome, and thank you for considering NYIT's Vancouver campus as the gateway to your future. NYIT has a proud history of achievement, as evidenced by its graduates, its academic programs, and its campuses around the world. Founded in 1955 as a private not-for-profit university in the State of New York, U.S.A., NYIT now has campuses in Manhattan, Long Island, the Middle East, China, and here in Vancouver, Canada. Following its long-term strategic plan for a global university, NYIT is designed to allow students to move among campuses with complete internal transferability of credits and thus to graduate with the same NYIT degree from any campus. Already, students can study for their general M.B.A. in Vancouver and complete a concentration in New York, as several of our graduates have done. NYIT-Vancouver is part of this grand global vision. We have received approval from British Columbia's Ministry of Advanced Education to offer two concentrations in our well established M.B.A.: one in Finance and one in Tourism. We are also excited about the approval we have received to offer NYIT's cutting-edge Master of Science in Information, Network, and Computer Security (M.S.-INCS) here in Vancouver. The M.B.A. concentrations and the M.S.-INCS degrees will be first offered in Vancouver in early 2014, and we have plans to add more post-graduate offerings in the not-too-distant future.
