At the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, the MS in Cybersecurity program curriculum is rooted in the belief that theory and research must translate into real-world solutions and an accessible path to career advancement. The NYU Cyber Fellows provides  a 75% scholarship, and operate the National Science Foundation-funded Offensive Security, Incident Response, and Internet Security (OSIRIS) laboratory. NYU has also built a remotely accessible virtual laboratory called VITAL, which serves as a shared, central facility for a consortium of universities in New York City. Curriculum meets the National Training Standards set by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS).
