October 6 University (O6U) holds the distinction of being the first and largest private university in the Arab Republic of Egypt. O6U is committed to establishing itself as a national and international leader in managing an innovative and sustainable system for education, scientific research, and community engagement.

Campus, Facilities, and Resources

The university's expansive campus covers 170,000 square meters, with over 70% of the land dedicated to beautifully landscaped gardens and green areas. O6U provides a comprehensive range of educational and recreational facilities, including a state-of-the-art library exceeding 9,000 square meters that grants access to over 100 international academic databases via the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

The campus also features indoor and outdoor museums, dedicated hostels for both male and female students, and sports facilities, including tennis and football courts.

Academic Profile and Accreditation

O6U is home to 14 diverse faculties, encompassing a broad spectrum of academic disciplines:

  • Health Sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Applied Health Sciences Technology.
