The Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas), based in Campinas, State of Sao Paulo, maintained by the Campinas Society of Education and Instruction, is an educational institution, Catholic confessional by nature, founded on June 7, 1941.

The university, physically, is distributed in three Campuses: Campus I - hosts the majority courses of the university; Campus II - courses connected to the health area and also hosts the PUC-Campinas Hospital (HMCP), and Campus Central - is home to the University Museum, both located in the Municipality of Campinas. PUC-Campinas Hospital is a reference for the city of Campinas and the metropolitan region, certified as a Teaching Hospital since 2004, develop important activities of Teaching, Research, and Extension. All campuses are equipped with a complete infrastructure, including advanced technology laboratories, Wi-Fi network for students and visitors, libraries with a rich collection of recent and rare works; food stalls, bookstores; and cultural and community services. PUC-Campinas has approximately 16 thousand students enrolled in 60 undergraduate courses in progress and 10 postgraduate programs. In terms of internationalization, the Department of External Relations - DER (https://www.puc-campinas.edu.br/dre/internationalen/) - enables the exchange of students, professors and researchers for Universities around the world.
