Learn to bring an engineering mindset to your career in business. Our Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) program bridges the gap between business and engineering, preparing graduates to make business decisions grounded in technology, engineering and math.
This unique cohort program is offered in partnership with Purdue’s College of Engineering and launched in fall 2021. As an IBE student you will take first-year engineering school coursework. You’ll choose one of four specialty areas:
- Data Analytics
- Financial Engineering
- Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Student Designated Specialty Area (the sky’s the limit! *Academic advisor approval required.)
By the end of your program, you’ll have taken roughly 60% business classes and 40% engineering classes.
Beginning in fall 2025, the IBE program will be offered at Purdue University in Indianapolis. Located downtown, students have the opportunity to work with major organizations like IndyCar and Rolls-Royce while enjoying a thriving city scene. Find a wide variety of career opportunities in Indy, known for innovation and the world-famous Indianapolis 500, the greatest spectacle in racing.
