Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST)

The Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST) is one of the public sector universities of Pakistan. It has secured a top-notch position as one of the top-ten universities in Pakistan, imparting engineering, science, and technology education. At present, the university has more than 27 degree-awarding departments working under five broad faculties, including the faculty of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, the faculty of Environmental Engineering, the faculty of ES, EL, TC, and CS Engineering, the faculty of Science, and the faculty of Technology. The University has 468 academic and 117 research staff Moreover, the university is home to 4955 students including 4538 bachelors students, 302 masters students, and 111 doctorate students. 

To foster the academic environment, the university has built a new building for Central Library, which is functional with all the necessary facilities for students and remains open round the clock. Apart from this, the university has provided well-equipped and practical laboratories to the teaching department to impart demonstrational training to the students. All the departments of university are provided with all the necessary facilities, such as internet access and computers, along with email accounts for the use of students and teachers, and mainly for training.  

Most importantly, the university has facilitated hostels to around 8000 students, shortly distant from the teaching departments. Students of the university are well-equipped with modern-day facilities, such as internet, sports grounds and a gymnasium for their better health.

The QUEST is accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Also, it is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university is expanding its global reach by looking for new opportunities to collaborate with highly eminent institutes from the USA, Turkey, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Germany.

The Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST) is a promising institution situated just outside the city of Nawabshah, occupying an area of 457 acres along both sides of the main Sakrand Road.
