About Raffles University, Malaysia
Raffles University, initially known as Raffles University Iskandar, was established by Raffles Iskandar Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between Raffles Education Corporation Limited and Education@Iskandar Sdn Bhd (EISB), a member of the Iskandar Investment Group. Notably, the university received formal approval from Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on 31st October 2011. Raffles University is the University of the Future. We are at the cutting edge of higher education in both teaching and learning and business practices. Our innovative and stimulating programmes promote – Doing while Learning and Learning while Doing . Raffles University will be a first of its kind, Asian-based Malaysian university that prides itself as a practice-oriented university with intensive curricula and practical hands-on experiences that give students maximum preparation for future careers.

Raffles University is located at Medini 7, Iskandar Puteri. The campus spans a total Gross Floor Area (GFA) of approximately 35,000 square feet, with Raffles University occupying the first floor and ground floor of the building.
The campus comprises four wings: North, East, South, and West. It offers an array of well-equipped facilities, including 18 academic rooms, 6 Interior Design Studios, 3 Fashion Design Studios, 1 Sewing Studio, 2 Design Studios, 1 Photography and Videography Studio, 1 Mac Lab, 1 Computer Lab, 1 AI & Digital Design Lab, 1 Design Workshop, and 1 Psychology Lab.
Raffles University Medini campus provides an inspiring environment for students to unleash their creativity and embark on a journey of limitless possibilities.
Student life
At Raffles University, we foster a dynamic learning environment by encouraging students to actively engage in both internal and external activities, fostering community projects and enhancing their exposure and experience. Student clubs play a pivotal role in strengthening the bonds among coursemates through a variety of activities and field trips, offering a unique university lifestyle. To further incentivize participation, we have introduced the Professional Development Skill (PDS), which awards merit points to students engaging in extracurricular activities. Those meeting the minimum merit points receive a certificate upon completing their studies. The Centre of Professional Development (CPD) department is dedicated to guiding students into the industry seamlessly through projects, professional attachments, industry research, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and career development. Even after graduation, the relationship continues through the Raffles University Alumni Association, treating every graduate as part of the Raffles Family. Joining the association is mandatory, and alumni are invited to share their insights, maintaining a strong connection with Raffles University.The Centre of Professional Development (CPD) department solely focuses on working with students to assimilate them gradually into the industry through
CPD assists Raffles students to seek for their Professional Attachment (internship) opportunity. CPD will provide internship briefing and sharing sessions for the students before beginning the stages of the internship. CPD will also guide them until the students finish their internship.
With the intricate knowledge of the industry, we are able to maximise our training to ensure a constant flow of competent professionals into the industry. In addition, our students are able to find jobs of their choice. In this way, we fulfil the career goal of our students and cater to the needs of the industry.
